Kevin Bacon is the actor who portrayed Nick Hume in Death Sentence. He was born on July 8th, 1958 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvaina. From an early age, he was an actor staring in many plays before gradually making his way onto television and later into movies. He starred in popular films such as Footloose, Friday the 13th, Apollo 13 and many others. In 2007 he starred in the film Death Sentence which was loosely based on the 1972 novel by Brian Garfield, as Nick Hume, a man who after having his son killed by a gang, took revenge against them. His role is very similar to Charles Bronsons's role in the Death Wish films. Kevin Bacon, unlike Charles Bronson who played mainly tough guy roles throughout his film career, has played a wide variety of roles and has taken on many different acting styles.
